About the Event
This event featured a panel of mental health practitioners with Asian heritage: Tracy Hopkins, Tai Kulenic, Eric Tran, and An Truong. The panelists addressed the unique experiences of AAPI people who are still largely portrayed as a “model minority” and a monolithic group. Topics included the rise of Asian hate since the COVID pandemic, issues of identity, and cultural humility in practice.
All attendees were entered into a raffle for three AAPI books.
